Stay Fit With Akima provides one-to-one online fitness and nutrition coaching through this website, the coaching app and the client web portal. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: info@itsakima.com.

When you apply: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your answers to the application questions.

As a coaching client: your account details; your questionnaire answers (which can include health, injury and lifestyle information you choose to share); body measurements and weight; progress photos; weekly check-in answers; food diary entries and food photos; workout logs; habits; and messages with your coach, including photos and voice messages.

On your phone: if you allow notifications, a notification address for your device so we can tell you about new messages. The camera, photo library and microphone are used only when you choose to take or send a photo, scan a barcode or record a voice message.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your information.

To provide your coaching: building your training and nutrition plans, reviewing your check-ins, replying to your messages, and showing your progress back to you. To send account emails such as invitations and password resets. Your coach may use AI assistance to estimate food nutrition from a photo or search, and to help draft feedback; your coach reviews what is sent to you.

We use trusted providers to run the platform. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: secure database, sign-in and file storage (United States).
• Vercel: hosting for this website, the coach dashboard and the client portal.
• Resend: delivery of account emails.
• Expo: delivery of notifications to the phone app.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI assistance for food estimates and coaching drafts.
• Open Food Facts: food and barcode search (only the search words or barcode are sent).

We keep your information while you are a client and for as long as needed afterwards for records you ask us to keep or that the law requires. Applications that do not become coaching clients are deleted on request.

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, or to close your account, by emailing info@itsakima.com. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings. The coaching service is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Information is sent over encrypted connections, and access rules in our database mean each client can see only their own information. Only your coach can see your coaching records.

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let clients know in the app.
